ABS Partners $10 million capital improvement campaign at 915 Broadway is ongoing.
The firm tapped into Honest Buildings’ network of architectural firms, and selected GKV and Javier Delagarza Architecture to design innovative corridors with an industrial sensibility as well as high-end restrooms at the 20-story office and retail property on the southwest corner of 21st Street and Broadway.
High-grade lighting, elliptical ductwork, and well-appointed pantries is also being installed. The team will also upgrade the standard pre-build finish to full-glass office fronts, wood floors and open ceilings. Renovations took place on the fifth floor, after which the entire floor was leased to tenants including Path Interactive and Gradian. Work has now commenced on the tenth floor.
“Our goal with the capital improvements program was to create something inspired that reflects the burgeoning tech community in the Flatiron District,” said Gregg Schenker, president and co-managing partner at ABS Partners Real Estate.
“In fact, there has been a surge of nearby technology, advertising, media and information (TAMI) tenants, including MasterCard, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Buzzfeed, Yelp, Union Square Ventures and Sony.”
