Winoker Realty Company has been acquired by a partnership of four New York real estate principals who have been business partners and friends for many years: Ira Z. Fishman and Dana L. Moskowitz, President and Executive Vice President of ID Real Estate Partners respectively, and Nathan Halegua and Josh Halegua, principals of Jonis Realty and Citi-Urban Management.
Fishman had worked at Winoker Realty from 1998 to 2008, including being David Winoker’s partner for the last seven years of Fishman’s tenure there.
Mr Winoker died in a skydiving accident last summer at the age of 49.
“Dave was a wonderful man, good friend, and a consummate real estate professional,” said Fishman. “In buying Winoker Realty, my partners and I were well aware that Dave and his father, Sidney (who founded the company), had created a solid platform, and we want to preserve and continue that platform.”

The company manages and leases some 22 office buildings in Manhattan, focused primarily in Class B & C buildings in Midtown and Midtown South. The company has 15 agents and brokers led by Corey Abdo and two senior managers.
“This is a strong firm with a wonderful history and extraordinary potential,” said Fishman. “We have begun the process of rebranding the company, and we intend to invest in it, with expectations to enhance, grow and diversify it.”
Under the new ownership of Winoker Realty, Fishman will focus on client relations and developing new business; Nathan Halegua will concentrate on acquisitions; Josh Halegua will devote his attention to management; and Moskowitz will focus on direction and oversight of the leasing division.
