TOWN Residential announced that Jeff Appel has joined its leadership team as president and chief operating officer.
He is migrating from his current position as a vice president of CitiBank, where he was the number one home-lending consultant nationwide.
Before that, he was a vice president at Bank of America’s home lending division.
Appel began his career as a real estate agent in California and worked at Manhattan Mortgage company for several years before moving to Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Preferred Empire Mortgage Company.
Appel has played an advisory role at TOWN since beginning with the luxury real estate firm as the director of professional development.

Southampton office.

Uzzo comes to BOND with 15 years of marketing experience and 10 years of residential real estate marketing.

He joins the firm from CitiHabitats where he was an interactive marketing manager. Prior to that, he was vice president of marketing strategy and vendor management at Douglas Elliman.
He brings a wealth of experience in online, traditional and guerrilla marketing strategies and is an expert in corporate branding, search engine optimization, and online and print advertising.
He has also worked with databases to ensure marketing is targeted and effective.

Citi Habitats announced that four leading real estate professionals have joined their East Village office as licensed salespeople.
The award-winning team is comprised of Afan Rafiq, Daniel Hayblum, Sabian Hayblum, and Scott Krenkel, all formerly of Town Residential.
Now known as Afan and The Hayblum Brothers at Citi Habitats, the agents have facilitated the rental and sale of over $12 million in residential real estate over the past year.
Afan Rafiq has more than seven years of experience in the real estate industry. His clients include diplomats, financiers, entertainers and other distinguished professionals.
A former accountant with a degree in computer science, he is able to tap into his financial background to help buyers make investment decisions.
Daniel Hayblum is a native of Melbourne, Australia, and studied Business Administration at Baruch College in New York City.
The son of a prominent real estate developer, he has closed both sales and rental transactions all over New York City in his seven years as a real estate professional. He is also an expert in online marketing.
Also hailing from Australia, Sabian Hayblum has over five years of experience in the business. His constant monitoring of market indications and level of attention to detail have made him a great resource for both buyers and sellers.
