WHO’S NEWS: Alan Nickman and Stephen O’Neal head to Elliman; Voda Bauer hires investment sales boss

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that Alan Nickman and Stephen O’Neal, both previously with Bellmarc Realty, have joined the firm as Nickman O’Neal & Associates, bringing along with them a team of real estate agents.
Nickman and O’Neal have worked together for over 15 years, and combined have decades of experience in virtually every market within the real estate industry.
Having handled deals for numerous property types including co-ops, condominiums, townhouses and single-family homes, Nickman and O’Neal are skilled in all phases of a real estate transaction.
Their business continues to grow with loyal repeat customers, clients, investors and referrals.
Nickman and O’Neal have also worked extensively in representing sponsors and conversion properties.
The team of Nickman O’Neal & Associates will be located at Douglas Elliman’s 1995 Broadway sales office.
Dailey Wiese, a real estate professional with hands-on experience in the architecture and design industries, has joined The Marketing Directors as a marketing coordinator.
Wiese will work alongside developers, architects, interior designers, and advertising agencies to help keep development projects on pace and on target for opening the on- site office.
She will also work with the sales and leasing teams to devise strategies designed to boost traffic to properties.


Wiese holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Southern California. She also received a master’s degree in real estate from London’s Cass Business School and a master’s degree in historical and sustainable architecture from New York University.
Voda Bauer Real Estate has hired Gina Ignatieva as director of investment sales.
Since launching less than two months ago, the firm has also hired 15 experienced New York City agents.
Ignatieva will be focused on business development, deal sourcing, client support and transaction negotiation.
She will handle the sale of apartment buildings, development sites, office buildings and retail properties. Additionally, she will be involved in structuring of long-term net leases and joint ventures.
Ignatieva is a licensed Real Estate Associate Broker in New York with over seven years of property brokerage experience, with a particular focus on landlord representation on an exclusive basis.
Prior to joining Voda Bauer Real Estate, she was an associate with the New York team for Brookfield Financial.
Earlier, she served as a Real Estate Associate Broker at Douglas Elliman.
Ignatieva earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Columbia School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from Harvard University.
Sophia Cicilioni, sales manager with The Marketing Directors Inc., and current sales manager at The Residences at W New York-Downtown, has been elected co-chairperson of the New York Residential Specialist® (NYRS®) Executive Committee.
The REBNY-certified graduate designation recognizes top New York City residential real estate agents with the highest professional credential.
Cicilioni follows Shirley Hackel of Warburg Realty, who led the program for the past four and a half years along with Co-chairperson Frank Russo of Halstead Property. Hackel remains a vital member of the committee.
A 30-plus-year veteran in the real estate industry, Cicilioni began her career in 1980 as a co-operative conversion co-ordinator and an on-site salesperson with Brown Harris Stevens.
She later joined The Marketing Directors Inc. in 2005, and has since led several award-winning sales teams.
She has been recipient of the regional National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Silver Award for Sales Team of the Year in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and also the national Gold Award winner in 2013.
Most recently, she oversaw a successful sell out of the Sheffield at 322 West 57th Street in Midtown Manhattan.
Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced industry veteran Todd Bourgard has joined the company and will manage the Hampton Bays office located at 14 W. Montauk Highway.
With over 17 years of real estate experience in the town he has lived in for the past 30 years, Bourgard is taking over from Ann Marie Pallister, who has been promoted to Training and Event coordinator for the Hamptons region.
Previously, Bourgard was at Coldwell Banker Trading Places.
Bourgard’s ability to bring buyers and sellers together seamlessly has put him at “top producer” status year after year.
He has successfully listed and sold residential homes, vacant land, waterfront and commercial properties.


Piquet Realty announced the addition of David Benmen as a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He will be based in the firm’s New York City office.
Benmen brings with him a lifelong knowledge of the New York real estate market. Both of his parents work in commercial and residential real estate .
Prior to joining the real estate field, Benmen worked in sales and marketing for an Internet start-up focused on location software in New York,
He was also vice president of sales and marketing at Luxury Limousine generating business throughout the Midwest and South Florida.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies from Indiana University.
