Sabre Real Estate Group has arranged a leas’e in the Willow Wood Shopping Center in Wantagh for Long Island’s first Stewart’s All American restaurant.
Stewart’s leased 3,000 s/f at 1187 Wantagh Ave. and is expected to open in the fall.
Stewarts, with its Americana décor, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with wait and counter service. The restaurants offer a full menu of burgers, frankfurters, cheese-steaks, fries, world famous Stewart’s Root Beer and ice cream desserts.
Jayson Siano, managing principal of Sabre, and Douglas Bomzer, a Sabre managing director, represented Stewarts, of Rutherford, N.J. Bob Delavale represented the landlord, Breslin Realty Development Corp., in-house.
Stewart’s has plans to expand throughout the Tri-State region. It currently has 35 locations in the Northeast, including locations in New Jersey, Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Started in 1924 in Mansfield, Ohio, by Frank Stewart, the chain became a franchise in 1931. Stewart’s is known for its Stewart’s Fountain Classics Root Beer and hot dogs.
