Suzanne Brose, who founded Custom Brokers and was its broker/owner, will co-manage the Weichert Properties Soho office with her daughter Karen Donica.

“We are so proud that Suzanne and Karen have chosen to join the Weichert team,” said James Weichert, co-president of Weichert, Realtors. “Custom Brokers was built upon the same foundations as ours – customer service and a tireless dedication to a client’s priorities.

“Now, combined with all of the tools and resources that Weichert has to offer, the Soho office is well positioned to make an immediate, positive impact on the downtown Manhattan marketplace. Together, we’re going to leverage our online presence, dynamic marketing, enhanced open house and Gold Services programs, strategic pricing method and team of neighborhood specialists to give New Yorkers an entirely new and superior real estate experience.”

Located at 361 West Broadway in Manhattan, the new Soho office builds on the company’s other Manhattan locations, Weichert Properties Rockefeller Center and WEICHERT, REALTORS – Mazzeo Agency.

Together, these offices utilize Weichert’s website, one of the most highly trafficked sites in the industry, according to Hitwise.

Along with Brose and Donica, close to 20 sales associates from Custom Brokers will join the Weichert Properties Soho office, where they will have access to Weichert’s training and use of the company’s marketing tools and services.

“The values of Custom Brokers and Weichert, both as people and real estate professionals, are perfectly aligned,” said Brose. “The commonalities and the bond established between Jim and James Weichert and myself and my daughter were evident from the moment we first met. We are so excited to join the Weichert family and give more New Yorkers the Weichert real estate experience, taking our business to the next level to help build the Weichert brand in the best city in the world.”

Weichert was founded in 1969 by broker Jim Weichert in  Chatham, New Jersey. He began franchising in 2000, and today the company is based in Morris Plains, New Jersey, and has nearly 250 Weichert offices.
