Warburg Realty announced that Skygroup Realty has merged into the nearly 120-year-old brokerage.
Gabe Leibowitz, president of Skygroup Realty, along with agents Dana Goldman, Kira Forman, Alessandro Mordini, and Jim Morano will join Warburg’s Tribeca location at 100 Hudson Street.
The team of five brings with them an over 250-unit rental portfolio in Midtown, amongst a queue of current and upcoming sales exclusives.

“From the moment I met Gabe, I could tell we shared core beliefs around ethics and good business practices,” said Frederick Peters, president of Warburg Realty.
“I am delighted that he and the whole Skygroup team will bring their intelligence and high standards to Warburg; the synergies on all sides excite us.”
Founded in 2005, Skygroup Realty led a full-service residential brokerage specializing in sales across Manhattan and Brooklyn, ranging from lofts to brownstones, while managing a rental portfolio of residences throughout the city.
“Our culture of values and professionalism fits seamlessly with Warburg’s,” said Gabe Leibowitz, former President of Skygroup Realty. “Fred has been an industry leader who I’ve looked up to and emulated as a small brokerage owner. We have a great synergy that will prosper under our new business relationship.”
Leibowitz privately owned Skygroup Realty since its inception as Aboveground Realty LLC, which he later renamed in 2010.
His team will be the newest addition to Warburg’s Tribeca office space, which has held a presence in the neighborhood for a decade.
This move comes on the heels of Warburg’s office expansion, with its Flatiron location slated to launch within the upcoming weeks at 18 West 21st Street.
