Versace USA leads leasing charge at 3 Columbus Circle

JLL has completed five transactions, totaling 37,165 s/f, at 3 Columbus Circle, 1775 Broadway, on behalf of building ownership.

Versace USA Inc. signed for 21,342 s/f; The Benvolio Group LLC took 5,789 s/f; Schireson Associates Inc. leased 3,886 s/f; Lagoda Investment Management LP signed for 3,097 s/f and; MFC Industrial Ltd. took 3,057 s/f at the office building.

The building owners were represented in all five transactions by Paul Glickman, Frank Doyle, Mitti Liebersohn, Alexander Chudnoff, Jonathan Fanuzzi, Diana Biasotti, and Benjamin Bass, all with JLL.

“All five tenants were drawn to 3 Columbus Circle for its spectacular views of Central Park and the surrounding cityscape,” said Glickman.

Versace USA will occupy the entire 20th floor at the building, which encompasses the entire block bounded by Eight Avenue and Broadway, and West 58th Street and West 57th Street.

The Italian fashion company was represented by Jonathan Schindler at Cassidy Turley.
Benvolio Group, which invests in early-stage branded consumer product and retail concepts, was represented by Alexander Schwartz with Norman Bobrow & Co. Inc.
Schireson Associates, a marketing consulting firm, will relocate to the 22nd floor from its previous offices on the 15th floor at 3 Columbus Circle.

Lagoda Investment Management will open a new office in 3 Columbus Circle. The tenant was represented by Lily Lin with A.C. Lawrence & Co.

MFC Industrial Ltd., a global commodity supply chain was represented by Paul Formichelli with JLL.

The 26-story 3 Columbus Circle has approximately 75,000 s/f of available commercial office space. In 2010, the office property underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation designed by architectural firm Gensler, which earned it a LEED-EB: OM Silver certification.
