Monday Properties and Invesco announced that Apple Tree Life Sciences, a venture capital firm, has signed a long-term lease for 14,169 s/f at 230 Park Avenue.
The firm, which invests in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech and healthcare services, is relocating from Princeton, NJ, to open its first New York office.
Monday Properties will build out Apple Tree’s new space, to be designed by Gensler.
Apple Tree Life Sciences was represented by Ethan Silverstein of Cushman & Wakefield. Monday Properties was represented in-house by Jordan Berger, together with co-broker JLL’s Paul Glickman, Frank Doyle, Jonathan Fanuzzi, David Kleiner and Matthew Polhemus.
Asking rent for this space was in the low $80s.
According to Anthony Westreich, CEO of Monday Properties, the tower space at 230 Park had been vacant only since January.
