Actress Uma Thurman’s townhouse at 18 West 9th Street has closed for $12 million, according to city records.
The buyer was a trust connected with the Darien, Conn.-based perfume company Parfum de Coeur. The deed was signed by Edward Kaminski, chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration at the company. Officials at Parfum de Coeur weren’t immediately available to comment.
The 5,086 s/f home went into contract in February and had an asking price of $14.2 million, according to Curbed.
According to a listing on StreetEasy, the property is a 25-foot-wide, five-story building, with a seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It also has a parlor dining room, garden with outdoor gas fireplace, and a separate guest apartment. “The house is ideal for entertaining or could comfortably accommodate a large family,” the listing reads.
Stephen McRae and Debbie Korb at Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing brokers. Neither was immediately available to comment.
