Treeline, a developer, owner and investor, announced the renewal of nearly 100,000 s/f for long-term law firm leases in their Garden City Plaza and Franklin Avenue Plaza portfolio.
Kraig Silver, executive vice president of Treeline, made the announcement.
“These properties are among the jewels of Treeline’s long-term New York area assets and they have enjoyed a history of high occupancy by a diverse tenant base of some of the area’s leading companies,” said Silver.
“They are particularly attractive law firms due to their proximity to county courts, high visibility and easy access to transportation. We are excited about the future for these Class A properties as we continue to invest in the future of Long Island.”
Berkman, Henoch, Petersen & Peddy, P.C. has signed a long-term renewal for more than 33,000 s/f at Treeline’s 100 Garden City Plaza. Silver represented both the tenant and the owner for the deal.
Treeline’s Class A Garden City Plaza portfolio includes 100, 200, 300 and 400 Garden City Plaza. The properties deliver offer access to the entire area with close proximity to the county seat.
The property has recently renovated common areas, parking and amenities that include outdoor plazas, an on-site café and an abundance of local restaurants.
Moritt, Hock & Hamroff LLP has also renewed and expanded its long term lease for 32,000 s/f at 400 Garden City Plaza.
Founded in 1980 by Neil J. Moritt, the firm is a full serviced firm with 19 areas of practice and a team of more than 60 lawyers.
Silver represented the owners in the transaction and the tenant was represented by CBRE’s Robert Seidenberg.
Also at 400 Garden City Plaza, Scully, Scott, Murphy, & Presser PC, a more than 40-year-old law firm with a specialty in patent and trademark litigation, has signed a long-term renewal for nearly 22,000 s/f.
CBRE’s Vincent LaManna and Richard Freel represented the tenant, while Silver of Treeline represented the owners.
Treeline’s 400 Garden City Plaza is situated next to the newly renovated Roosevelt Field Mall.
Amenitires include concierge service, parking, tenant controlled HVAC, conference facility, food service and on site property manager.
With direct access to Meadowbrook Parkway, the site is within close proximity to train stations, airports and 30 minutes from New York City.
In the fourth transaction, Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP has secured a renewal and expansion of its long term lease at 1205 Franklin Avenue Plaza to nearly 11,500 s/f.
Robert Rosenbluth and Gerry Krush of Real Estate Strategies, Ltd. And Howard Greenberg of Howard Properties, Ltd. represented the tenant in the expansion, with Mr. Silver representing the Treeline Companies.
Franklin Avenue Plaza is Garden City’s four-building office complex. Amenities include 24-hour security, express mail service, fitness club, coffee shop, on-site management and garage parking. Close to both Meadowbrook and Southern State Parkways, tenants have immediate access to all major roads, restaurants, retail and hospitality venues.
