Historic American art gallery leases space in Carnegie Hall Tower

Fine art specialist D. Wigmore Art Gallery has leased a space in Carnegie Hall Tower.

The gallery, which specializes in major historic styles of American art, will occupy a 4,000 s/f space on the third floor of the property.

The third floor is considered unique within what is hailed as the architecturally significant Carnegie Hall Tower.

Ceilings are 18 ft., floors are concrete and slab heights are unmatched, creating an asthetic that has also appealed to finance and tech tenants as well as gallery and showroom tenants.

Matt Leon, an executive managing director at NGKF, along with Chip Sealy at TF Cornerstone, acted on behalf of ownership in the lease. Michael Joseph and Taylor Bell of Colliers International represented D Wigmore. Sources say the 10-year lease had an asking rent in the $60s psf and leaves a 6,700 s/f suite available.
