Top Elliman team joins Compass

Compass just announced that Wesley Stanton, Jordan Hoch, and their seven-member team (The Stanton Houch Team) have joined the firm.

The group over $85 million in sales in 2019 – ranking first or second in total transaction volume at Douglas Elliman over the last two years.

“We’re confident that Compass will enable us to more effectively service our clients’ needs in today’s ever-changing landscape,” said Jordan Hoch.

The team specializes in marketing new developments and has a niche professional client base ranging from doctors and lawyers to bankers.

“We joined Compass for its collaborative ethos and unparalleled commitment to technological innovation,” said Wesley Stanton.

The team will be onboarded virtually and eventually work out of the  Compass office on the Upper West Side Office at 2150 Broadway.

Compass laid off 375 workers at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, although no NYC staff were among them.

At the time, CEO Robert Refkin – who is not drawing a salary during the pandemic – predicted the crisis would last 100 days and said he hoped to re-hire all of the workers.

It has now been 73 days since New York City first began to shutter businesses as the virus spread across the US.
