Three new retail tenants coming to Liberty Square Center in NJ

National Realty & Development Corp. (NRDC) recently announced that three new tenants totaling 58,690 s/f will be opening at Liberty Square Center in Burlington, NJ. Liberty Square Center is a 380,380 s/f shopping center anchored Walmart Supercenter and Marshalls/HomeGoods located on Mount Holly Road (Route 541).

Planet Fitness will open a 25,000 s/f fitness facility in a portion of the center’s former Acme unit. The off-price department store Ross Dress for Less, will moving into 22,090 s/f and occupying a portion of the former Toys ‘R’ Us unit. Five Below will occupy the remaining 11,600 s/f of the former Toys R Us space. Additionally, the center recently opened a new McDonald’s and is one of the first in South Jersey to have table delivery and features two new ways to order: kiosk and mobile phone ordering.

“Our goal is to continue to reposition our centers with a mix of prominent retail brands that attract a wider variety of shoppers. Current anchors Walmart & Marshalls/Home Goods have strong sales and these new additions will create a special synergy that will position Liberty Square Center as one of the highest performing centers in the area,” said Nick Hrvatin, Vice President, Retail Leasing at NRDC. “We are excited for these new tenants to open up at the center.”

Retail space is available for immediate occupancy at Liberty Square Center. Headquartered in Purchase, New York, the NRDC portfolio is comprised 78 projects in 14 states, including large retail power centers.
