Invesco Real Estate announced that the Strata residences – the 162 luxury rental apartments occupying the top 11 floors of the Enrique Norton designed Mercedes House at 550 West 54th Street – are now over 65 percent leased.
The leasing milestone, accomplished in six months since launch, was celebrated with a summer soiree on the building’s 32-story penthouse level.
In honor of the occasion, three penthouse homes were transformed into a pop-up gallery showcasing the artwork of local artists Emily Klima, Benna Holden and Mitch Siegel.
The exhibition, entitled “Strata’s Sky Art,” will be on display through the summer and all of the original artwork is for sale. The private rooftop cabanas were also open throughout the evening, affording a backdrop of Hudson River and city views, as over 200 guests from the real estate and art communities enjoyed music by DJ Alex Lauterstein.
Strata features one to three-bedroom homes and penthouse units. Rents are net leased from $4,586 to $10,843.
