The Spector Group announced that it is working with WeWork to design its newest and most spacious location to date at 222 Broadway, in the Financial District.
The growing company is slated to occupy over 50,000 s/f on the 19th, 20th and 21st floors of the building, with plans to soon move into an additional five floors, for a total of over 120,000 s/f.
Marc Spector, AIA, NCARB and a principal at Spector Group, said his company is overseeing the design development, creation of construction documents and administration process on the company’s behalf.
Spector is also the landlord’s architect for WeWork’s headquarters at 175 Varick Street.
“Since its founding in 2010, WeWork has provided collaborative workspaces and resources to its members, who are some of the city’s most creative and passionate businesspeople; this flexible, eye-catching space at 222 Broadway is designed to appeal to that clientele,” added Spector.
