The Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG) announced that they have come to an agreement with Sleepy’s, The Mattress Professionals, on a 10-year lease in their East River Plaza property.
The 5,000 s/f, two-level showroom, represents one of Sleepy’s largest showrooms in New York City.
In addition to managing the space, BDG will be responsible for building out the entire footprint, from demolition to construction, with an expected late spring opening. Demolition is expected to begin next month.

leepy’s joins other retailers such as Costco, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, Old Navy, PetSmart, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Planet Fitness and many more in the 480,000 s/f shopping center transformed from the former Washburn Wire Factory
