SL Green inks 30,000 s/f lease at Worldwide Plaza

SL Green Realty Corp. announced that AMA Consulting Engineers, P.C. has signed a 30,756 square foot, five-year lease at 825 Eighth Avenue (Worldwide Plaza) for a portion of the 18th floor.

“We’re delighted to have AMA Consulting Engineers as a valued tenant at Worldwide Plaza,” said Steven Durels, Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing and Real Property at SL Green. “The building is part of a unique campus providing multiple dining and fitness opportunities with immediate access to a large outdoor plaza and subway convenience.”

Worldwide Plaza is owned in joint venture between SL Green, RXR Realty LLC and NYRT. Occupying the entire block bounded by Eighth Avenue, West 50th Street, Ninth Avenue and West 49th Street, the 49-story, two-million-square-foot building is surrounded by dynamic retail, dining, entertainment and recreational facilities, as well as on-site parking. Worldwide Plaza received LEED Gold certification in 2012 and has been ENERGY STAR rated since 2010.
