Silver Towers gets 9,000 s/f dog Spot

The Spot Experience, a New York-based dog services provider,  announced a new partnership with Silverstein Properties.

SILVER TOWERS

Spot is expanding its residential amenity program with the addition of a new facility in between Silver Towers, a 1.2-million-square-foot complex and River Place, a 908,000 s/f  complex covering an entire square block along West 42nd street near the Hudson River.

Spot will provide residents of Silver Towers and River Place with full-scale access to both in-house and off-site pet care, offering the ultimate amenity for the dog owning tenant. In addition to pet care amenities, the 9,000 s/f Spot facility on the ground floor will also include a state of the art wellness and therapy operation, complete with underwater treadmills, physical therapy and veterinary care.

The dog amenity program provides residents of both buildings with a complimentary Spot membership along with exclusive discounted services and priority access to the highest level of cage-free daycare and overnights, dog walking, transportation, grooming and training services at Spot locations in New York City. Spot also provides a designated shuttle service, which includes highly trained dog handlers for pick-up and drop-off of pets. Additionally, Spot will provide in-home services for cat owners as well.

Spot also provides a trained staff of veterinary technicians and animal behaviorists with more than 80 hours of training in Spot’s proprietary Human Alpha Instinct Method™.

The partnership with Silverstein Properties strengthens The Spot Experience as the only enterprise of its kind. Additional residential amenity partners include LeFrak, Argo, Rockrose and Millennium Partners and Spot exclusively handles all animals being transported via United Airlines cargo with on-site facilities at Chicago O’Hare and Newark International airports.

Spot recently doubled in size with the announcement of a strategic partnership with Greenwich, Connecticut-based retailer Pet Pantry Warehouse. It will provide an extensive menu of pet services among the five locations, which include Greenwich, New Canaan and Wilton in Connecticut and Larchmont and Rye in Westchester County, New York, expanding its North Eastern area footprint.

“Spot is thrilled to offer the ultimate amenity for dog owning tenants in the Silver Towers and River Place luxury residential buildings,” said Mitch Marrow, CEO and founder of The Spot Experience.

“Aside from the highest caliber of care, Spot will also provide residents and neighbors a state of the art therapy and rehabilitation center to keep pets healthy and to help recover from injuries, all under the close supervision of a trained staff of veterinarians, veterinary technicians and animal behaviorists, giving residents comfort knowing all dog walkers and pet sitters in the building are experts with the required certifications.”

Silver Towers and River Place cover an entire square block. The two buildings include a public park, an outdoor terrace and a peaceful inner courtyard. Silver Towers also includes spa-like amenities, including a 75-foot indoor pool, as well as parking and more than 20,000 square feet of retail.

“I am delighted to welcome Spot to the neighborhood,” said Roger Silverstein, Executive Vice President of Silverstein Properties, Inc.  “We pride ourselves on taking care of our tenants and providing them with the very best services and amenities. Now the 2,200 families that live at Silver Towers and River Place will have the best care for their dogs too.”
