Rose Associates has signed a 10-year lease with Bombay Sandwich Company at The Capitol at Chelsea, a luxury rental building on Avenue of the Americas between 26th and 27th Streets.
Bruce Spiegel, senior managing director for Rose, represented The Capitol at Chelsea. The tenant was represented by Jessica Hoppe of Redwood Property Group.

“Bombay will be a nice addition to the other restaurants located at The Capitol and surrounding buildings,” said Spiegel. “This is a dining destination for the neighborhood, which offers a strong residential and office population that gives retailers year-round foot traffic.”
This is the first time the popular vegetarian sandwich purveyor will operate out of a dedicated storefront.
The company has its roots in Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg, a collection of food and beverage purveyors that gathers at two different locations each weekend.
Rose also signed a new ten-year lease with Mint Clothing Co., Ltd. for a 700 s/f space at 60 East 8th Street in Manhattan.
Spiegel represented the owner and Chris Guzzello of Sinvin represented Mint Clothing. Mint Clothing specializes in women’s fashion and operates three other stores.
