Ridge Hill adds Container Store

Forest City Ratner Companies (FCRC), the owner and developer of Westchester’s Ridge Hill, announced that The Container Store will occupy 25,000 s/f on Market Street across from The Whole Foods Market Yonkers.

FCRC also announced that Muse Paintbar and Bark N’ Bones have also signed leases at Ridge Hill.

Ridge Hill is a 1.3 million square foot center offering a mix of shopping, dining and entertainment.

The new tenants, in addition to other lease agreements recently announced, will add approximately 50,000 s/f to the retail, dining and entertainment mix at the center.

“Ridge Hill is devoted to providing experiences that go beyond traditional shopping. We are delighted to have The Container Store join our family of retailers because they understand that shopping in the 21st Century involves more than simply fulfilling an order — they understand the customers’ needs and will add significant value to those who shop at Ridge Hill,” said Kathryn Welch, executive vice president, Forest City Ratner Companies.

“Our other five new tenants are also a perfect fit for Ridge Hill. Starbucks and Five Napkin add their national experience to our wide array of dining options, Hand and Stone will complement our spa and fitness offerings, and we couldn’t be happier that Poll Brothers will be bringing authentic, family-friendly Italian cuisine to a prime location — with an open-air terrace right on Ridge Hill’s Town Square.”

The 25,000 s/f The Container Store will open during Summer 2015, joining over three dozen retailers and more than a dozen restaurants at Ridge Hill. Recent additions include The Children’s Place and Banana Republic. Plus, Lord & Taylor has expanded its Men’s and Children’s departments.
