Restaurateur to open new Chelsea eatery

Restaurateur Bobby Khorrami has plans to open a casual dining, farm-to-table restaurant at 251 West 30th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, near Hudson Yards.

The yet-to-be-named restaurant will be located on the East side of the building in an approximately 1,817 s/f space with 20 ft. ceilings and a mezzanine.

John Monaco, executive vice president/leasing, HSP Real Estate Group, a member of NAI Global, and Jeffrey Roseman, vice chairman, Newmark Knight Frank, represented the owners for the 15-year lease.

The tenant was represented by Joshua Berkun, Nest Seekers International.

“This restaurant that will be a wonderful amenity for our tenants, as well as everyone in the area,” said Monaco. “Also, working with Jeff and his colleagues is always a pleasure.”

The asking rent was $140 psf.
Korrami and his group, Green Devil
Inc., have taken possession of the space and expect to open after Labor Day
2019.
