Real estate industry funnels $6M into Juniper Square

Juniper Square, a technology provider for real estate investments, announced $6 million in Series A funding led by Felicis Ventures, with participation by strategic investors from the real estate industry.

The investment brings total equity funding in Juniper Square to $8 million. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its team to serve the needs of a growing customer base.

Founded in 2014, Juniper Square is transforming the private funds industry with modern, easy-to-use software that automates one of the most critical business functions for investment managers: raising and managing outside capital.

Over the last 12 months, the company has more than quadrupled both revenue and assets managed through the platform. In that time, more than 100 real estate managers have switched their private equity fund operations to Juniper Square.

The company’s customers now use Juniper Square to service more than 50,000 investors, manage more than 3,000 investments, and track nearly $200B of real estate assets.

“The real estate industry has historically been very underserved by technology,” said Alex Robinson, Juniper Square’s Co-founder and CEO. “our solution helps firms of all sizes better manage the entire lifecycle of their capital relationships.”
