Online fashion distribution giant leases 600,000 s/f in Jersey

With the pandemic driving demand for online fashion, Italy-based logistics giant OMLog has leased a 607,279 s/f facility in Phillipsburg, NJ.

The company, which ships luxury fashion products around the world, took the space at Bridge Point 78, a master-planned, 3.9 million s/f industrial complex located at 1000 Rand Boulevard being developed by Bridge Development Partners and PGIM Real Estate.

A team from CBRE brokered the lease for OMLog, which will house its operations in Building 3 of the complex where tenant include UNIQLO and White Claw.

“Bridge Point 78 offered OMLog the ideal opportunity to expand its international operations in the heart of one of the Northeast’s main industrial distribution hubs,” said Jake Terkanian, who is part of a CBRE leasing team that includes Mindy Lissner and Vincent Ranalli that serves as the exclusive leasing agents at Bridge Point 78.

CBRE’s Kevin Dudley represented OMLog is the lease. The company already has two major facilities in New Jersey as well as operations in Italy, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and New York.

Phase 1 of the Bridge Point 78 development is now fully leased while Phase 2, which includes two additional buildings totaling over 1.6 million s/f, is set to deliver next year.

Situated along the Interstate 78/81 corridor, the complex is located 15 miles from the FedEx hub in the Lehigh Valley, and 55 miles from New Jersey’s Port of Elizabeth.
