New West Village location for coffee geeks

Eastern Consolidated’s Retail Leasing Division has arranged a 10-year, 500 s/f lease in the West Village on the ground floor of 30 Carmine Street for Bluestone Lane, a Melbourne, Australia-style coffee brand that is expanding throughout New York City.

James Famularo, senior director of the retail leasing division for Eastern Consolidated, represented the landlord for the five-story, mixed-use building, located between Bleecker and Bedford Streets. Jonathan Krieger of RKF is the exclusive representative for Bluestone Lane.

“This is such a great location that we were inundated with calls and proposals as soon as we put the space on the market,” Famularo said.

“We reviewed dozens of coffee concepts but ultimately selected Bluestone Lane because it’s a unique, expanding, cool brand and was the perfect tenant for the perfect space.” Since launching in New York City in 2013, Bluestone Lane has opened coffee shops in Midtown East, the Financial District, Midtown, and NoHo, and cafes in the West Village, Upper East Side, and Philadelphia. In addition, Bluestone Lane has been selected as the exclusive coffee and café retailer for Dumbo Heights, the tech campus that will be anchored by WeWork and Etsy at 55 Prospect Street in Brooklyn.
