Cushman & Wakefield arranged a 3,650 s/f long-term lease for Grand Days, a play space and café offering programming, food and drinks for young children and their parents, at 307-311 Grand Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Brandon L. Singer and Michael Cody represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, Grand Metro LLC, was represented by Shlomi Bagadi and Chandler Slate of Tri State Commercial Realty.
“We worked diligently with Grand Days for just under a year to find the right space in this neighborhood,” said Singer. “We chose this site because it provides all the necessary amenities for Grand Days to excel in its first location.”
Grand Days will offer spaces for creative open play, events for families and unique programming for both children and adults. The location boasts 3,400 s/f of ground floor retail space with an additional 250 square feet of outdoor space.
“As a mother of 2-year-old twins and a resident of the neighborhood, I’m very excited about opening Grand Days in Williamsburg and bringing a much-needed go-to space for young families,” said Tamar Behar of Grand Days.
“We’re really putting an emphasis on the parents with tailored programming and design.
Parents will be able to enjoy coffee, craft beer, wine and a plant-focused menu while their children play safely and engage in high-quality classes.”
“Grand Days has a great concept that pushes forward with the trend of Williamsburg, catering to the young families that have flocked here the last few years. We’re excited to see their success and welcome them to the neighborhood,” added Chandler Slate of Tri State Commercial Realty.
307-311 Grand Street is situated near an abundance of retail, entertainment and dining options. The property is within walking distance to the L and G trains at the Metropolitan Avenue Subway Station..
