Renderings released for The Rowan
RockFarmer Properties has launched a website for The Rowan (pictured top), Astoria’s newest ground up luxury condominium.
Designed by DXA Studio, The Rowan will feature a terraced massing of light gray masonry that rests above a 210 ft. long glass retail base.
Located one block from the N train at 21-21 31st Street, the condo will have a wood and glass-enclosed lobby that opens onto a private garden.
When complete in 2020, the six-story condo will comprise 46 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences. Asking prices are expected to range from $495,000 to $2,150,000.
Residences will feature custom white oak flooring, a Miele appliance suite and individually controlled HVAC systems. They will be pre-wired for Fios cable and high-speed internet and half will have outdoor space.

Leasing set to get underway at 235 Grand
Ironstate Development Company and KRE Group have kicked off a preview leasing period for 235 Grand, a new 46-story rental building in Downtown Jersey City.
The partnership launched the luxe building’s full website and revealed a collection of renderings that showcase its 549 residences and amenities.
Initial occupancy is scheduled for September. The Marketing Directors has been tapped as the exclusive leasing and marketing agent.
Located blocks from the Hudson River waterfront, 235 Grand offers proximity to NY Waterway and the Grove Street PATH Station, while the nearby Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza — Jersey City’s Restaurant Row — bustles with food, cocktails, rooftop bars and outdoor community events.
Designed by HLW International, with interiors by Bentel & Bentel, 235 Grand is 46 stories and includes a 24-hour attended lobby, fitness center, barre/yoga studio, resident lounge and co-working spaces.
