New roof deck lights up
A new six-level parking garage offering 510 parking spaces and a 45,000 s/f landscaped roof deck has opened at The Beacon, the community of luxury rental residences and incomparable amenities in Jersey City.
The new roof deck will instantly become the centerpiece of an already extensive collection of private pocket parks and open green space situated within the gated community. This unique amenity features a distinctive entrance courtyard, seating, lighting, walking paths, flower beds, lawns and an overlook terrace offering breathtaking views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.
“The completion of this parking garage and roof deck brings us closer to our goal of making The Beacon one of the greenest urban residential communities in the region,” notes Beth Polychrones, General Manager at The Beacon. “Our residents already enjoy substantial green space that includes a two-acre pocket park, a dog run, organic community gardens and a children’s playground. The new rooftop deck literally brings these desirable outdoor amenity offerings to new heights, creating an urban oasis of greenery and passive recreation for our residents right here in the heart of Jersey City.”
The Beacon offers residents proximity to Jersey City’s vibrant downtown district which is celebrated for its comprehensive public transportation system, including numerous NY Waterway Ferry terminals and PATH stations offering convenient service into Manhattan, as well as NJ Transit Light Rail and accessibility to the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and the New Jersey Turnpike.
LIC rental more than 50 percent leased
More than 50 percent of TF Cornerstone Inc.’s 820 rental apartments at 4545 Center Boulevard have been leased, just over two months after the official launch of its marketing campaign on June 1.
Leasing has continued at a rapid pace as families and young couples find their way to this amenity-packed building located in the growing Long Island City waterfront family community.
Features attracting families to 4545 Center Boulevard include: the 50,000-square-foot outdoor amenity deck featuring a real sand beach volleyball court, two tennis courts, a reflecting pool, dog run, sprawling lawn, and sun deck with BBQ grills, lounge chairs and benches; a children’s playroom, designed in collaboration with Apple Seeds – an award-winning children’s play center, and an outdoor children’s playground; and family programming and events in partnership with Citibabes, among others.
“This 50 percent milestone achieved in such a short time reaffirms the demand for Long Island City properties,” said Sofia Estevez, Executive Vice President of TF Cornerstone Inc. “Young couples and families have flocked to the area, attracted to the family atmosphere paired with luxury and convenience just minutes from Manhattan.”
The amenity-packed building is only a four-minute subway ride away from Midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn on the G and 7 trains, and just minutes from the East River Ferry and the Pulaski Bridge. 4545 Center Boulevard offers iconic city views and boasts more amenity space than any other Long Island City property.
Leases for 4545 Center Boulevard’s modern, open-air spaces start around $2,200 per month. The building’s spacious studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments tout hardwood floors, gourmet kitchens with natural stone countertops and stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling windows, and generous closet space.
