Buchbinder & Warren Realty Group hosted an open house at 601 Madison Avenue to showcase the firm’s exclusive new retail listing.
William Abramson , Director of Brokerage at Buchbinder & Warren, is the exclusive agent for the 30,060 s/f flagship building occupied by Armani until it relocated further north on the Avenue.
The six-story property has 52 feet of Madison Avenue frontage, 12. 6 ft. ceilings, a ground floor selling space of 4,600 s/f, along with five additional floors of 4,300 s/f, a 4,900 s/f lower level, a 3,400 s/f penthouse and an 800 s/f terrace.
Reasonable subdivisions will be considered, according to Abramson, who previously told REW: “This is one of the best spaces on one of the best blocks, as far as retail is concerned, in the world.”
The open house offered guests a chance to take a private tour of the building while sipping on cocktails made to order by 50 Bleu Vodka and dine on hors d’oeuvres from Carlyle off the Green. The event took place on the ground and second floor retail space with music to set the atmosphere by DJ Annie Solange.
During the event, guests were given the opportunity to have caricatures drawn on the spot by caricature sketch artist Anthony Kiernen.
Baynes & Baker, a custom suit maker new to Manhattan was at the event taking measurements on the spot for brokers looking to purchase a new summer suit.
Guests stayed late into the evening and included a mix of executives in the fashion and real estate spheres.
