Last week, The Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater New York (BOMA New York) hosted a celebration at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in NYC to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The event drew more than 400 guests.
“Since BOMA New York’s founding in 1967, we have represented commercial property owners, managers and professionals in the Greater New York City region – the largest industry in the market area, generating approximately $1.5 billion in annual tax revenue,” said BOMA New York President James R. Kleeman in a press release. “It was amazing to celebrate with so many former BOMA New York presidents and members, and see the Empire State Building illuminated in the illustrious BOMA Blue in honor of our 50 years in the Empire State. I highlighted that we are hard at work implementing our long-range plan. I am proud of all BOMA New York has accomplished and excited for these future efforts.”
