HAVE YOU HEARD: Alan Cumming sells East Village co-op

Scottish actor Alan Cumming is selling his East Village co-op.

Cumming and husband Grant Shaffer — who bought the full-floor East 10th Street four-bedroom for $1.65 million in 2005 — have listed it at $2.2 million with Douglas Elliman’s Noble Black and Jennifer Kaufman Stillman.

The 51-year-old actor, from the tiny village of Aberfeldy, has appeared in film, television and theater and is also an accomplished author.

He played a baddie in the James Bond film GoldenEye; co-wrote, co-directed, co-produced, and co-starred in the ensemble film The Anniversary Party with Jennifer Jason Leigh,; and had prominent roles in blockbusters such as Spy Kids and X-Men United.

He has also made several documentaries, including My Brilliant Britain, about Scottish humour and even hosted Saturday Night Live in 2000. Cumming and his husband have already purchased a townhouse in the Village that they have been renovating, according to published reports.

The 44th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House officially opened to the public last week at the Carlton House Townhouse.

Twenty-one of the nation’s most acclaimed interior designers and architects are taking part in the event that benefits the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, a local youth development center in the Bronx and flagship of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

For the next month, an estimated 15,000 people are expected to tour the completed Show House, which serves as the organization’s premiere fundraiser.

Each designer was given six weeks to transform their assigned space in the Carlton House Townhouse in Lenox Hill, which is currently on the market for $49.5 million.

For the Show House’s opening night reception, famed floral designer Preston Bailey created a massive 12 foot tall floral replica of the Show House.

Visitors of the Show House can buy a selection of curated items including antiques, fine art, home furnishings, and vintage designer clothing at the Show House Shop, located at 680 Madison Avenue.

New York has retained the title of America’s most walkable city.

Walk Score, a Redfin company, released its 2016 ranking of the most walkable U.S. cities with populations over 300,000.

NYC won with a score of 88.9. Long Beach (69) was the only Southern California city included in the top 10, narrowly beating out Baltimore (68.7).

San Francisco was second (85.7) and Boston third. (80.10).
