Brooklyn Harvest Market is set to open a 10,000 s/f store in East Williamsburg.
Garry Steinberg and Richard Kave of Lee & Associates NYC negotiated the ground-floor deal at 781 Metropolitan Avenue, between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street.
The gourmet grocery retailer features full-service butcher and seafood counters, a selection of produce as well as fresh, made-in-Brooklyn specialty and prepared foods.
This will be the fourth store for the brand which currently has two locations in Brooklyn and one in Astoria.
“Brooklyn Harvest Market brought specialty products to the market that were in high demand by the residents of this up-and-coming East Williamsburg neighborhood,” explained Steinberg, who represented the tenant along with Kave.
“Brooklynites have really begun to recognize the Brooklyn Harvest Market brand as being symbolic of the highest quality, the freshest products and the friendliest service. This new East Williamsburg location is perfectly situated to meet the needs of the constantly changing neighborhood.”
The property owner, Adam America, was represented by Hymie Dweck of Newmark Knight Frank. The lease term is 20 years and the asking rent was $80 per square foot.
