Former Hilfiger HQ space getting makeover for debut

Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group has been awarded the exclusive agency for 372 West Broadway, an 11,520 s/f building at the northwest corner of Broome Street.

Encompassing three floors, an additional lower level selling floor and a rooftop garden, the building includes an elevator that travels to each of the four 2,880 s/f interior floors and has 112 feet of frontage spanning West Broadway for nearly half the block.

“This is an extraordinary brand-building opportunity with corner presence on the best traveled retail corridor in Soho,” said Consolo.
“The space is impeccable, too, with open floor plates and floor-to-ceiling windows for multi-level retail display.”

Added Aquino, “The building can also accommodate many uses besides retail, such as a restaurant, an Eataly-style market, showroom and offices. A business opening here could dominate the downtown market virtually overnight and there is nothing even remotely comparable in Soho right now. Moreover, for companies that need more space, up to three levels may be added for an extra 10,000 square feet.”

The ownership is currently preparing to implement extensive exterior improvements that include larger, more contemporary windows. Among the property’s many other marketing highlights are rooftop billboards, visible beyond a mile, and outside banner strips for additional branding.

Formerly the headquarters of Tommy Hilfiger and a Samsung pop-up, 372 West Broadway is surrounded by the likes of Cipriani, Emporio Armani, 7 for all mankind, Links of London, and Bonpoint, among others
