Eastern Consolidated tapped to lease retail at new Theater House luxury rental

A prime 7,800 s/f retail space at the base of Theater House, a dramatic 22-story luxury glass residential tower at 237 East 34th Street in  Murray Hill, is being marketed for lease by Eastern Consolidated’s Retail Leasing Division.

Exclusive brokers James Famularo, Senior Director and Principal, and Max Swerdloff, Associate Director, are handling the assignment.

“Offering 50 feet of glass window frontage, 15-foot high ceilings, abundant natural light, and approximately 5,946 square feet on the ground floor, and 1,800 square feet on the lower level, this space would be ideal for a number of uses including a medical office seeking a location near New York City’s premier medical facilities on First Avenue,” Famularo said.

Swerdloff continued, “The retail space is located on 34th Street, which attracts significant foot and vehicular traffic, and between Second and Third Avenues where stores and restaurants are plentiful.”

The site is a few blocks south of the United Nations and a little over a block from the First Avenue Medical and Life Sciences Corridor, home to several hospitals and research centers including the NYU Medical Center, Alexandria Center for Life Sciences, Bellevue Hospital, and numerous medical professional complexes and health related not-for-profit institutions.

Designed by architecture firm C3D Architecture, Theater House has 105 studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences and 7,000 s/f  of indoor and outdoor communal space.
