Scottish whiskey bar, the Caledonia, will open its thrid Manhattan location at 424 Amsterdam Avenue.
Eastern Consolidated arranged the 10-year, 700 s/f lease. Senior Director and principal James Famularo represented the landlord, Amsterdam Partners, and director Ravi Idnani represented Caledonia Bar.
“This is an extremely busy corridor surrounded by a number new developments and steps away from Central Park, making it ideal for casual food and beverage concepts,” Famularo said.
In the past year, Eastern Consolidated’s retail leasing team arranged three other leases on the block for the same landlord including Poulette at 426 Amsterdam Avenue; the Beer Shop at 422 Amsterdam; and Olma Caviar Bar at 420 Amsterdam Avenue.”
Idnani continued, “Caledonia Bar has built a strong customer base at its other two other locations on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side and is looking forward to continued success at this location..”
