DONE DEALS:Roundup of the week in residential sales

Halstead agent Tecumta Tiwoni closed a record deal on a historic block in Harlem.
A townhouse built in 1893 on Striver’s Row, a stretch of 138th Street in Central Harlem (pictured top), sold for $4.175 million, well over the asking price of $3.9 million and the first time a home on Striver’s Row has sold for over $3 million.

The impressive property, a 20-foot wide, three-story townhouse with six bedrooms and four bathrooms, was on the market for two months before being snapped up by a buyer who was looking for a townhouse in the neighborhood.
“The buyer was looking in the market for a while, saw the townhouse, knew it was rare, and wanted to move quickly,” said Tiwoni. “Twenty-foot homes don’t come up too often, especially not on this lot.”
Designed in 1893 by architect Bruce Price and Clarence S Luce, the home is loaded with original details, including French doors, oak floors, crown molding, six decorative fireplaces, 12-foot ceilings and a south-facing Juliette balcony.
Dharshyni Peries of Rutenberg NYC represented the buyer.
