After two disappointments, Megan Niwinski of City Connections Realty was determined to help her clients get third time lucky.
While they took a hiatus from house-hunting, she kept up the pace and found them their ideal home.
Niwinski explained that her buyers lost out on two other homes, “They told me they wanted to take a short break and we would resume the search in February.
“But I didn’t let one day pass without checking out new inventory or price drops that fell within their $2 million budget.ˮ
When the price on #2 at 145 Park Place in Park Slope dropped from $2.25 to $2 million, Niwinski scheduled a viewing with listing agent Noah Plener of Halstead Property. “We submitted an offer of $1.95 million and the sellers countered. We came up to ask and the rest is history,ˮ said Niwinski. “I couldn’t be more excited for my clients, now friends, to start the next chapter in their new home.
“Moral of the story — never stop working on your client’s behalf. You never know when the right space will be available for them to check out.ˮ
