Corcoran Sunshine has closed on the last sponsor sale at Manhattan House at 200 East 66th Street.
Once home to film actress and princess, Grace Kelly, jazz musician Benny Goodman, and former New York State governor Hugh Carey, the 20-story landmark underwent a rental-to-condo conversion after it was bought by O’Connor Capital Partners in 2005.Completed in 2015, the conversion modernized all of the apartments and created a 10,000 s/f rooftop club, spa and yoga studio as well as a fitness studio, children’s playroom and concierge.
Residents also get access to a courtyard, garden, roof deck and terraces.
The final sponsor unit was its #A37 which was just sold to an LLC for $2.1 million.
The 2-bed, 2-bed unit was originally listed in July 2017 for $2.45 million and spent 448 days on the market.
The buyer was represented by Corcoran’s Stephen Geller and Caroline Holl and the seller was represented by Corcoran Sunshine’s Lawrence Kruysman.
