DONE DEALS: Big profit for return client

LAURA GRUBER

Wald Real Estate agent Laura Gruber helped a longtime client land a sweet deal — nearly a quarter century after she helped him buy his first Central Park West home.
Gruber repped the seller of combined apartments 27Q and O in condo building The Century, at 25 Central Park West.
The three bedroom, three bathroom apartment had not been changed in the 24 years since Gruber’s client bought it for around $450,000.
In November, Gruber listed the unit for $9.2 million then, last week, closed at $8.575 million.
“I sold it to this owner 24 years ago and was happy to help him make such a nice return on his money,ˮ said Gruber, noting that although the apartment is in need of a gut renovation, “the main features were the views. I think that really was the appeal to the buyer.”
The buyer, an LLC, was represented by Robbie Brown of Corcoran.
