DONE DEALS: Farsi search leads to Ft. Green sale, UWS apartment sells for $965k

Conversation Starter: Web search leads to Ft. Green sale

A random internet search for an agent who speaks Farsi brought Danny Nassi his latest deal.

Danny Nassi

The Nest Seekers team leader is fluent in the Persian language, having been raised in the US by Iranian-born parents.

He said, “My client, who works for Google, and his girlfriend found me on Zillow by simply filtering Farsi as the language. They were just feeling out the scene and had worked with 12 other real estate agents prior to me.

“I quickly found them the ideal unit and they plan on moving in next month after some minor renovations.”

The apartment is #213 at 174 Vanderbilt Avenue in Fort Green. It’s a two bedroom, 2-bath condo with an open chef’s kitchen, custom bathrooms and bedrooms with walk-in California Closets.

There is a living room and dining room, central air, a washer/dryer and underground deeded parking.

Justin Dupree at Corcoran represented the seller and listed the unit at $1.175 million. It sold for $1.16 million after four weeks on the market.
