Diamondocity to sparkle on Lexington

Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, and Joseph Aquino, Executive Vice President of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group have arranged the lease for a contemporary art gallery, Diamondocity, at 958 Lexington Avenue.

Founded by two artists, the concept “started from the love of art and design combining the unique sensibility of modern images with hand set crystals that add sparkle and happiness to any room.”

The new space represents the first dedicated gallery for Diamondocity and is situated on one of the area’s prime commercial corridors, surrounded by such neighboring retailers as Cotelac (another tenant arranged by Consolo and Aquino), Courage b, Peter Elliot, J. McLaughlin and Betsy Bunky and Nini, as well as several popular local restaurants, including Bella Blu, Sette Mezzo and The Serafina Group’s new concept, Cognac.

“The gallery has already built a strong following through its website sales, art shows and pop up store in the Hamptons last summer,” said Consolo. “Now this dazzling artwork will be displayed on a highly visible corner and attract even more patrons.”

Added Aquino, “It’s another ‘clicks-to-bricks’ story with a tenant that automatically invokes excitement. I’m thrilled that they’ll be in our proverbial backyard with their first standalone unit.”
Consolo and Aquino exclusively represented the tenant and landlord.
