Dante Bar and Restaurant headed for West Village

One of the world’s best bars is set to open a 2,480 s/f space at 551 Hudson Street.

Dante Bar and Restaurant will open in the former Spasso pizzeria space following a full renovation.

The owners of Dante Restaurant were recently ranked No. 16 on The World’s Best Bar list, and will be opening their second NYC location.

Linden Price, who purchased the 100-year-old Dante and successfully turned it around, is excited to open his second restaurant in his neighborhood.

William Abramson of Buchbinder & Warren Realty Group, who represented the landlord in the lease with colleague Matthew Olden, said, “We are very excited to bring such a great restaurateur to this iconic space and we know this family business will thrive in the community.”

Dean Valentino, ABS Partners Real Estate represented Dante.
