The City has issued a request for proposals to develop a site in Flushing, Queens.
In the RFP issued by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) developers are invited to submit proposals for a new construction project on the city-owned site at 133-45 41st Avenue.
The site is bordered by College Point Boulevard, Main Street, and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) line in Flushing, within Community District 7.
According to HPD, the goal is to develop a transit-oriented, mixed-use, mixed-income development that will expand affordable housing opportunities in the neighborhood, while supporting existing commercial and cultural uses.
