Cipriani signs on to create food destination at new Waterline Square development

The Cipriani food dynasty is set to create what’s being dubbed the world’s first “experiential food market” at the new Manhattan waterfront development, Waterline Square.

The Cipriani family will develop 28,000 s/f of space for a large format culinary experience with multiple food and beverage establishments, featuring a market, restaurants, and fast casual outlets.  Located within Two Waterline Square, the new Cipriani food hall will be designed by  London-based interior designer Martin Brudnizki.

GID Development Group just launched sales for its Waterline Square, the three-tower condominium mega-development on Manhattan’s last remaining waterfront  site.

One Waterline Square has been designed by Richard Meier and Partners Architects, Two Waterline Square by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and Three Waterline Square by Viñoly Architects. Waterline Square’s l interiors have also been designed by a dream team of interior designers  that includes Champalimaud Design, Yabu Pushelberg and Groves & Co.

Waterline Square will feature three glass towers


Encompassing nearly five acres along Riverside Boulevard between West 59th Street and West 61st Street, Waterline Square comprises a trio of glassy towerswith articulated facades, outdoor spaces, and faceted crowns.

The property will have 263 luxury condominium that crown the three towers, ranging from 1-5 bedrooms that start on the 20th floor and above, and provide views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.  A comprehensive amenities package will include more than 100,000 s/f of sports, leisure, and lifestyle spaces, as well as a  landscaped park spanning nearly three acres.

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing and sales agent for Waterline Square, with occupancy slated to begin in 2018.

Once complete the property will include a total of 1,132 condos and rental units located on the lower floors.
