Busy month at 180 Maiden

Clarion Partners is welcoming three more new tenants to 180 Maiden Lane, the 1.2 million square foot tower that the joint venture is renovating to a market leading standard.

JWE INC., an apparel company with three major distribution facilities headquartered in New York, was represented by Howard Rosenblum of The Kaufman Organization.

Open Road Integrated Media is a publishing house that has published more than 10,000 ebooks and is currently representing over 2,000 authors. The firm was represented by Ben Fastenberg and Derrick Ades of CBRE.

Fortis Property Group, a private real estate investment and development company, was represented in-house.

The new tenants were attracted to the LEED-certified building’s amenity base within the tower, the walkable amenities and ongoing redevelopment in the surrounding Seaport District and close proximity to mass transportation.

Clarion Partners, on behalf of a separately managed account, and MHP purchased 180 Maiden in January 2015 and the partnership is nearing completion of a $30 million capital improvement plan.

“This is the ideal conclusion to a tremendous month for us,” said David Greene, President of Brokerage Services at MHP Real Estate Services. “We have completed the majority of our capital improvement plan, hosted a well-received art exhibition in one of our new public spaces, held a highly-successful event for the brokerage community, and now have three more tenants joining our roster. It’s very exciting.”
