Boulud doubles up at WTC

Brad Schwarz, senior managing director at Lee & Associates NYC, has arranged a 2,000 s/f retail space for Daniel Boulud’s Epicerie Boulud at Westfield World Trade Center.

With Boulud’s original gourmet market a mainstay on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, his Westfield World Trade Center location will be twice the size and have a prominent balcony position in the Calatrava-designed Oculus. “Who better signifies the level of tenants in this extraordinary retail center than Daniel Boulud,” said Schwarz.

“His is a transformational brand in a space that is probably among the most anticipated destinations in the world. Epicerie Boulud will be a culinary destination for the millions of local residents, office professionals and travelers visiting Westfield World Trade Center.”

Schwarz represented the tenant for the 15-year lease. The Owners Representative was Rachel Belam, head of food leasing for Westfield.
