Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership of 100 Broadway in a long-term lease transaction to TD Ameritrade, Inc.
TD Ameritrade will occupy a total of 9,509 s/f on the ground floor and lower level in the historic 24-story office building, which is located at the southeast corner of Broadway and Pine Street.
The transaction, along with Duane Reade’s lease of approximately 25,000 s/f in 2011, completes the lease-up of the approximately 35,000 s/f space previously occupied by Borders Books.
Cushman & Wakefield, led by Gene Spiegelman and Michael O’Neill represented Madison Capital in the transaction. Annette Healey of CBRE represented TD Ameritrade, Inc.
“100 Broadway is a great corner space located in the heart of the Financial District and steps from Wall Street, which lends itself well to a prominent financial institution like TD Ameritrade, Inc,” said Spiegelman, a Cushman & Wakefield Executive Vice President.
100 Broadway features an architecturally distinctive space with more than 170 feet of frontage on Broadway & Pine Street. The office building is one block from Wall Street and near major subway lines.
