WHO’S NEWS: Stribling welcomes Janice Silver; Amala Redd moves to Elliman

Stribling & Associates announced that Janice Silver has joined the firm as a licensed associate real estate broker based out of its Madison Avenue office.
Silver brings over 28 years of experience in real estate sales, having personally handled more than 400 sales transactions in neighborhoods across New York City.
Prior to joining Stribling, Silver was an executive vice president and sales director at New York-based Bellmarc, where she was also recognized as an overall top-performing agent and expert on the Upper East Side market. Silver has also spent nearly two decades serving on various building boards.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Silver lived in the Midwest and Boston before moving to New York.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that Amala Redd has joined the firm’s office at 1995 Broadway.
Redd, who has over 14 years of experience in the industry, comes to Elliman from her role as the director of new development at BLU Realty Group.

Redd previously served as senior marketing director of Halstead Property Development Marketing, where she worked on prestigious projects including 11 Central Park North, 88 Morningside, Northside Piers, 80 Metropolitan, Steel Street Lofts and over 70 more.
Redd has also served as director at The Corcoran Group Brooklyn and as project director at TOWN New Development.
A New York native, Redd completed her undergraduate study at Sarah Lawrence College.
Prior to beginning her career in real estate, she established a name for herself in television production where she conceived, sold and executive produced program concepts to Viacom’s BET.

Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert announced that five agents have joined the newly launched firm.
Experts in Miami’s luxury real estate market with longstanding community ties, Stephan Burke, Carol Cassis, Ryan Brescia, William McClain, Jill Velarde, will assist the firm’s international client base to add value to their real estate transactions.
Stephan Burke, previously a realtor at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, is an award-winning real estate agent with over 20 of years of experience.
Carol Cassis previously was a Realtor at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. She brings with her a portfolio of sales that include multi-million dollar Miami Beach hotels, commercial buildings and luxury residential properties.
Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert, William McClain cultivated an extensive portfolio of high-end sales as an agent with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami Beach.
Previously, he held the position of Luxury Real Estate Specialist with The Campins Company.
McClain launched his career leading a variety of high-performing sales and marketing teams in the luxury hotel industry.
Jill Velarde began her real estate career in the New York metro area. Upon relocating to Florida, Velarde oversaw the development of luxury single-family homes and was the lead design consultant for a Top Conde Nast Traveler ranked resort.
Ryan Brescia, an entrepreneur agent with more than ten years of real estate experience, joins Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert as a luxury real estate and rentals specialist.
Previously, Brescia held the position of Director of Operations and Business Development at Brick&Mortar.
Brescia previously worked at Charles Schwab as an investment advisor and sales manager in New York and Miami.
Since launching in June 2015, Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert has welcomed several of Miami’s top names in real estate including Reginald Fairchild, Denise Howard and Phillip Grossman.

Woodmont Properties announced that John Santavicca Jr. has been promoted to regional community manager.
In this new role, Santavicca will be responsible for the supervision of operations within Woodmont luxury apartment communities across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Since joining Woodmont Properties more than two years ago, Santavicca has served as community manager at Woodmont’s Lehigh Valley apartment communities Woodmont Mews and Woodmont Place at Palmer.
Under his leadership, Woodmont Place at Palmer was recognized for “Curb Appeal Excellence” and “Maintenance Excellence” by PAA.
With more than 10 years of industry experience, Santavicca formerly held positions at a number of real estate firms including Home Properties, Roseland Property Company, Cohen Realty Group, Foxtons, Keller Williams Elite Realtors and Weichert Realtors.

Liam Rosenberg is the newest licensed salesperson to join Homes By Mara Realty of Syosset, NY.
Rosenberg joins the firm after graduating this past June from Commack High School.
Rosenberg plans to capitalize on his Dix Hills roots and knowledge of his local neighborhood to broaden Homes By Mara’s reach to the Dix Hills community as well as other areas within Suffolk County.
