Art adviser and socialite Leontine Ebers is planning to build a two-story art gallery in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

According to permit applications filed with the Department of Buildings, the property, located at 315 Maujer Street, will contain 2,779 s/f of commercial space.
Ebers, who is the vice president of the Board of Trustees of the New Museum, is the lone owner of the site through Amant Properties LLC. Amant’s business address is 33 Vestry Street, a luxury condo building in Tribeca. Andrew Reyniak Architect applied for the permits.
The property was sold in 2015 in a $4.2 million deal. It was part of a block-through development package that also included a one-story commercial building at 932 Grand Street. At the time of the purchase, 315 Maujer Street was an empty lot behind 932 Grand Street.
