Toni Haber moves to Compass after 27 years at Douglas Elliman

Compass announced that top producer Toni Haber has joined the company along with her four-member team.

A 30-year industry veteran with more than $1 billion in domestic and international sales, Ms. Haber is one of the most sought-after brokers in the country well-known for her innovative use of technology combined with personal attention to drive optimal results for her clients.

Ms. Haber joins Compass from Douglas Elliman where for the past 27 years her team was ranked among the firm’s most prolific. The Haber Team has also consistently been named to REAL Trends/ The Wall Street Journal’s prestigious list of the top thousand real estate teams in the country, as well as REAL Trend’s Best Agents in America. The team also was named as one of The Real Deal’s top 75 NYC brokers in 2016. She has set numerous penthouse sale and price-per-square-foot records across Manhattan, and has a vast portfolio of clientele in New York City, the Hamptons, Aspen, Connecticut, Florida, California, as well as Europe.

Joining Ms. Haber at Compass from Elliman will be her wife Carol Burns, a 25-year finance industry veteran with both not-for-profit and private sector experience; Victoria Frost, a seasoned real estate professional with 10 years of combined experience in both New York City and Los Angeles; and Jared Brown who has 12 years of industry sales experience in both New York City and Los Angeles.

Compass was launched in 2013 by Ori Allon, who sold two previous companies to Google and Twitter, and business partner Reffkin, a former Chief of Staff to Goldman Sachs’ President & COO. The Company began its national expansion last year, opening offices in Washington, D.C., Miami, Boston, the Hamptons, Los Angeles, and Aspen.

In total, Compass has raised $135 million in investor funding, more than any other residential brokerage in the country, from key investors including Institutional Venture Partners, Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, 406 Ventures, Advance Publications, Inc., Kenneth Chenault, CEO of American Express and Marc Benioff, Founder and CEO of Salesforce.com.
